General Contractor in Tempe, AZ

One contractor, one contract, one person answering the phone. That is the difference on a Tempe property that needs several trades.

Tempe property takes a beating

Between the university corridors, the older neighborhoods and the commercial districts, this city runs hard on its buildings.

Summer heat and monsoon storms do their share. So does older construction that hides asbestos or mold behind a wall.

A lot of Tempe was built after the war

Tempe boomed after World War Two, and the housing shortage that followed is why so many of its subdivisions were platted and annexed in the 1940s and 1950s. In Tempe a building generally has to be at least fifty years old before it can be recognized as historic, and plenty of the housing stock clears that bar.

Houses that old were built with materials nobody uses now. Asbestos hides in ceiling texture, floor tile and roofing felt, and paint from before 1978 can hold lead. The roof framing has taken decades of heat on top of that.

Chasing three contractors is the real problem

A single loss can need a roofer, a restoration crew and a builder. Coordinating them yourself means conflicting schedules and nobody owning the outcome.

We hold every one of those licenses, so the handoffs happen inside our company instead of on your calendar.

Frequently asked questions

The questions owners ask us first, answered before you call.

Tempe takes permit applications online, through its Citizen Access portal. Building Safety sits at 31 East 5th Street in the city hall complex. We file the application and book the inspections as part of the job.

Yes. A lot of Tempe was built out after World War Two, and homes from that era can carry asbestos in ceiling texture, floor tile and roofing felt, plus lead paint if the finish predates 1978. Testing costs far less than cleaning up after a renovation disturbs it.

We do. Flat and low slope commercial roofs, tenant space strip outs and water losses in occupied buildings are regular work for us, sequenced so you can keep as much of the space open as possible.

No, and that is the point. We hold the roofing license, the IICRC restoration certificate and the builder's license. One crew stops the leak, dries the structure and repairs the ceiling.

Nothing. You get an inspection, photos of what we found and a written estimate you can hold us to. If part of the work can wait, we say so rather than bundling it in.
